Wilson and a man by the name of William B. Hay . Mr, Wilson is dead; Mr. Hay I don't know where he is. I believe those are the only ones besides Mr. Wyschuhn that I can remember the names of now. me about the trip down. A Well, as I said, it was in high water, and we did not have any danger from rocks or anything. It was swift water; it was all swift water. We continued, only for making theme locations, that delayed us. I think we could have made the trip in two days if we had kept right down. But we had no accidents, only in this big sound waves and sand bars; you would get into those sand waves, some of them, and if you did not handle your boats just right they would capsize, and in that heavy water I know Mr. Wyschuhn was excited several times. Q These boats which you had, were they decked over and watertight? |
