Show 5698 3705 148 The Special Master. Do you understand the question? The Witness. Yes, sir; I was reflecting, Your onor. I do nor recall what the fall on the Colorado River was. You are speaking of the Colorado river from Hite on down? Mr. Blackmar. No. I had in mind from Greenriver to the junction, and then from Hite down to Lees Ferry. The Special Master. From Moab to the junction? The Witness. Do you mean the Grand River? By Mr. Blackmar: Q The Green River from Greenriver to the junction, and the Colorado River from Hite to Lees Ferry? A Well, the fall of the Green River from about 30 miles below Greenriver, Utha, is about 3 feet per mile; and about a foot per mile for the rest of it. The Special Master. I do not think we want to go into those details. We have got the actual figures on that. Mr. Farnsworth. I think so, and I think it is under-stood, with relation to that, that the recollection of this witness will not be considered as against the actual measure-ments. |
