Show 5697 3704 147 The Witness. They were made under my direction. Mr. Farnsworth. Is this going to alter the evidence al-ready in about the actual fact, according to the measurements? Mr. Blackmar. Well I am not going to alter nay testi-mony. Mr. Farnsworth. Well, I object to it as unnecessary repetition. Mr. Balckmar. I have a witness on the stand, and I want him to testify. The Special Master. Well, we have got the actual figures; but this is an engineer who is testifying as to general condi-tions; and if Mr. Blackmar thinks it adds anything, I see no objection to it. We have got the actual figures, and can test his answers by them. Go ahead, Mr. Witness. Mr. Farnsworth. Well, I do not think the recollection of this witness, that is mere recollection, should be allowed to bring in some new testimony that we may be compelled to offset. The Special Master. I do not think there will be any-thing of that kind. If there is, we will consider it. Let the stenographer read the question. |
