Show LETTER OF SUBMITTAL. San Francisco, Calif.. July 22, 1919. To the Secretary of the Interior and the Board of Directors. Imperial Irrigation District. Sirs: There is submitted herewith our report, as required by the terms of the agreement between the Secretary of the Interior and the board of directors of Imperial Irrigation District, bearing date February 16, 1918, which proyides for surreys and studies of the problem of constructing a canal, located entirely within the United States, from Colorado Riyer, at the Laguna Dam, into the Imperial Valley, Calif. A preliminary report transmitting a cost estimate was submitted in December, 1918. On the basis of later and more complete information, the earlier estimates haye been reyised for this final report, and as required by the terms of the agreement, the larger problems of the Colorado Payer are therein discussed.
