A This is an accurate survey, yes, sir. Q Is that the place where you fixer the limit of navigation? A No, sir; that is upstream. Q That is upstream. How far from where you put the limit of navigation is that? A Well, that is about two miles above there. Q It would be how far above Moab, then -- about five miles above Moab? A No; that would be 65 1/ 2, about 70. Q Now, in what way did you make this survey? A In an automobile. Q You took your instruments along with you, did you? A Yes, sir; that is a plane table survey. Q Have you any other survey made above Moab? A No, sir. Q And over what stretch of the stream does this sur-vey extend? It would be about half a mile? A Well, that is a scale of about 500 feet -- half a mile. It is about 3,000 or 4,000 feet long. 2288 |
