Show 855 Mr. Farnsworth: No, we haven't any objection to any part of Exhibit 87, the pictures, or the maps made by the witness. The Special Master: Do you offer Exhibit 87, Mr. Blackmar? Mr. Blackmar: Yes; I offer in evidence Complainant's Exhibit 87. ( The documents referred to were received in evidence and marked " Complainant's Exhibit 87.") Mr. Farnsworth: You have all of this stuff in here ( indicating paper in counsel's hand). You have these other reports which you quote from; all of this other stuff is here. Why is it not the province of attorneys to present this ( indicating paper) in their brief? Mr. Collins: I think it is presented in this way for the benefit of the Special Master, so that there would be nothing passed up or overlooked; that is the only purpose. We are going to have men on the stand that will back all of Mr. Hoyt's observations up. It only covers a couple of miles. The Special Master: Are you going to present those papers you have as exhibits, Mr. Blackmar? Mr. Blackmar: Yes, sir. I offer in evidence Complainant's Exhibit No. 88, being a compilation by Mr. Hoyt of the stream flow characteristics of the several rivers at the base gauging stations. Have you seen that, Mr. Farnsworth? Mr. Farnsworth: I think so. Mr. Blackmar: It is a compilation of all the data of the gauging stations. 2218 |
