Show 354 know of trails going into the canyon at various places. You might get into the canyon, but not out, on account of the high rim-- Q Well, is this canyon on the Green River more or less continuous, or is it broken up with side canyons? A It is rather continuous, but there are several side washes. Q I mean in general. A In general. There are openings and side washes, but there are practically no tributaries below the San Rafael. I think that there is no stream that flows water continuously. Q And is the same more on less true of the Colorado? A The Colorado has several streams which drain from the east, that have an opening 1,000 wide, that extends up the wash as it comes from the west. But in general it is intact.
