By the Special Master: Q Have you got figures on the Snake River? A Yes, sir; we have figures on all the rivers of the entire United States. Q Well, it so happens that the Snake River is a river which the Supreme Court of the United States has held to be navigable. A For the entire stretch, I wonder. Q I do not know, but portions of it, certainly. Could you produce the figures on the Snake River similar to what you have produced on the others? A Yes, sir. The Special Master: The case I refer to is Scott v. Lattig ( 227 U. S., 229), in which the Court states that it is well to repeat that the Snake River is a navigable stream. I can not recall what portion is referred to. Mr. Collins: It is the southern part. Mr. Blackmar: Considering that case, I think that is, perhaps, just a little bit above that boundary line.
