Show CONVENTION RICHFIELD CLUB State and National Federation. We the third Monday of each month at the New Park Hotel, Park City. In the near future ·we will make good our pledge of $250 to the City Health Program. Among other projects which we have undertaken are a party for the grad uating high school" girls, the award ing of a gold medal to the best all around high school girl, continuation of our student loan fund, and the purchase of new books for the li brary. We have also donated to the Provo Day Nursery, to the Utah State Sanitorium Association to fight tuberculosis, and to the peace cam paign. Programs outlined by National have been followed with little devi ation. Each committee and club of ficer has been responsible for a din ner meeting. Our club pamphlet, "Business Buzz", has been published monthly. During Business Women's Week, entertained at our Public Rela tions Dinner the Mayor and repre sentatives of all civic organizations. We received publicity in the Provo Herald daily. Incidentally, we have secured 400 inches of publicity this we year. We boast of three State Officers, our President, Grace Cheever; cor responding secretary, Rhea Taylor; and finance chairman, Barbara Pax man. Al though we have fewer !llembers, our attendance has been hIgher. and all our members have been active. Our activities have included our our annual outing at Fish Lake, Mothers' banquet, a trip t<? Nephi for their anniversary celebr-ation, act ing as hostess for the District Con ference, and a "clean-up, paint-up" campaign. In observance of. Busmess Women's Week, we entertamed rep resentatives from Civic clubs at a banquet with Mrs. George Worthen of Provo as the speaker. We have in creased our profits considerably with a rummage sale and other activities with the hope of formulating a book shelf in our public library. We have also donated to the Junior High band and to the local Band Mothers' Club for the purpose of buying uniforms. On the week devoted to youth, the commit tee secured a trainer of youth to speak and had the young peopl give Women the musical program. The Public Re lations Committee gave a banquet during Business Women's Week and asked the representative from each of the different clubs in our city as well as the Mayor as our guest. One 'hundred and eighteen business men and women listened to a Ph. D. speak on "The Business Woman As A Citizen".
