For the information of the Executive Committee, President Cheever stated that at the Regional Conference held in 1956 at Lake Tahoe, the Presidents of the clubs of' the western states had pledged their support to the Calif- 0rnia Federation in case it sent out an invitation to hold the next National Convention in California in 1959. Kansas City is also asking for the National Convention in that year. However, the Committee decided that the pledge to the Cal ifornia Federation should stand unchanged, and that the in coming President should be instructed to that effect , with the understanding that these instructions were in no way bmding if subsequent circumstances in her opinion made a change desirable. President Cheever stated that at the meeting to be held at 2: 00 0' clock it was her desire to take up as much routine business as possible, and that the election and re mainder of business would be completed Sunday.
