Sent copies of Senate Bill No. 121, relating to transfer. of sanitary inspection and regulation from the State Board of Agriculture to the State Board of 'Health, and Bill Senate No. 122, setting up health districts throughout the state, to all clubs. Notified Mrs. Malita Hansen and Mrs. P. H. Leaver of Coalville of Public Hearing to be held 8:00 P. M. Februray 4th, on these bills. Mrs. Malita Hansen of Tooele attended. (No. 121 passed, No. 122 killed in Committee.) February 6. Sent copies of Senae Bill No. 69 relating to Tuberculosis Sanatorium to clubs throughout the State. February 6. Wrote Herbert Maw, President of the Senate; Joseph Jen sen, Speaker of the House; Senator Parratt; Senator Royle; and S.enator Holmes' urging favorable action on health nd sanatorium bills. March 9. RALLS, MISS ALICE MANNING S ta te Legislation Chairman. - - State Parliamentarian -- Intcrnntlonal elali()n spite of the fact that a time limit was set for the return of Club Chairman reports, and an envelope In and questionaire inclosed, to facili tate a reply, only nine of our sixteen clubs have reported on the work of the International Relations Commit tees at the time of the deadline for publication. On the whole, the nine clubs re porting seem to have held some worth while meetings on International Relations. Three clubs, Vernal, St. George and Tooele report programs worked out within the Club, St. George indicating they would have a speaker for the State Marathon Round Table, if one should be held, at the Convention. Salt Lake City and Ogden Clubs both brought in In ternational Speakers to discuss In ternational problems of in t ere st. Brigham Club held an International banquet and featured a speaker of International interest. They also re port a series of study programs on International questions in which they have united with other groups. Heber City Club reports a comprehensive banquet wherein other orgallizaions participated, featuring International questions, and at which. an interet ing lecture on International affairs was given. Cedar City Club is the only club reporting so far, the use of the Club Kits suggested by the . National Federation. Their program took the form of a Court at which a Judge presided, and members de bated the question of whether World Peace efforts had been a failure. They report to participate a discussion. representative ready in a State Marathon Obviously, the Clubs have not pre pared to participate in the Marathon which the National Club urged, so that will not be a feature of our State Convention.
