Show Board. Motion second, and carried. President Clegg reported that the constitution by-laws had been ammended and were now ready for publication. Ruby Stringham read bids received from the following printing companies for the printing of the constitution and by-laws: New Century Pri .t.Lng Co. Western Printing Co., Arrow Press, Pyramid Press, Pem broke, Roosevelt Standard and Deseret News. Motion waS made by Ruby Stringham duly seconded and carried that we accept the lowest bid. Mrs. Stringham motioned that each club member be assessed 10¢ to defray the expense of printing the constitution and by-laws. and Motion seconded and carried. Report of District Conferences to be held the second week in October was made by Nial Nelson. She reported that chairmen had been Elizabeth Thomas Ina Millward Amelia Buckley Hildur Johnston appointed as follows: Northern District Central District South Central Eastern District She also reported that the Price Club was not organizing this year, and that the Richfield club had requested to join with South Central in its conference National had sent copies of panel discussions on "Economic Security for Women" and llWhat Becomes of the Tax Dollar" copies having been mailed to each district chairman. Miss Nelson moved the acceptance of her report, which was seconded and carried. Alice Pederson suggested to the Board, that inas as each district in the past had presented our Nat onal Representative at District Conferences with a favor of some kind, that each district contribute toward much one gift, and when the Representative was through with all conferences that this one as a gift be token of love and esteem from all districts. Miss Peder sonrs suggestion was unanimously all members presented present. accepted by Miss Nial Nelson presented a bill of $13.10 as expenses for District Conferences to date. Alice Peder son moved that this bill be accepted. Motion seconded and carried. |
