Armament, subjects: In response to a pamphlet sent out to each of our local clubs on "A Political Plat form for Peace," five report they expect to use this project in the coming year, within their club; two will use it in co-operation with other organized groups. Every issue facing our country is affected by the central problem of Wr or Peace. Political platforms which do not recognize this relationship are useless. The National Peace Conference, in which thirty national organizations are represented. is sponsoring a project to help us to analyze a political platform in this regard. For fifty cents the National Committee on the Cause and Cure of War, will send to you a kit of material containing: 1. An analysis of national issues affecting world peace. 2. Simple pamphlet material concerning these issues. 3. Instructions for group discussion. studyng throug lectres;. With the Presidential election nearing, and with so many grave conditions to be adjusted, I feel that as Business and Professional Women, we should acquaint ourselves with these issues, and prepare ourselves to understand, weigh and sift the many issues that will be placed before us, and I know of no better or more effective way than through our clubs. My hope is that in the coming year each member will become personally interested in this phase of our work, and give freely of her time and talents to promote a better understanding of these vital problems. Logan is paying for one in the City Library and one for Cache County Library. 2. In some instances, members have been articles of interest to prospective given read from the magazine with a view of enlightening them of aims and ideals of the dub. 3.
