Frisby, President The Utah Federation of BPW Clubs 855 North Main Brigham City, Utah 84302 Dear Joyce: We are delighted to release Utah's first new Club, The Zion Business and Professional Women's Club of East Washington County, Utah pending a revision in the bylaws. Charter, The numbered 6353, has been sent to the engrosser and you should receive it in the very near future. The bylaws, as submitted, were found to be in fair condition with the following exception in Article V, Section 1: . , . Article V, Section 1 of the Zion BPW Club's Bylaws "The annual dues shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per capita, payable in advance. These dues shall include all district, state, national and international dues and gifts as levied by these organizations, which dues also cover annual subscriptions to the State Publication THE UTAH WOMAN, and the National Publication THE NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMAN It is wise in a set of bylaws to spell out the dues, among the membership at a later date. gifts, etc. so as to " ••• avoid conjecture We recommend that the following text as out lined in the "Model for Club Bylaws" be utilized incorporating the amount of district dues into the content: Article V, Section 1 of the "Model For Club Bylaws" "The annual dues shall be $ include $ , per capita, payable in advance.
