Show -11the ball rolling during National Business honored six women at a dinner meeting. then have paid tribute to twelve other April we highlighted & Professional Women's Week when we We have continued this event and since outstanding women. this meeting as a Charter Member Night. City In ladies started our club back in May 20th will see approximately two hundred guests call a t the lovely home of Mrs. Paul Murphy where the Senior Girls of Union High School will be honored at a tea. We have contributed besides to all charity ornizations, Rheumatic Fever Fund, supporting drives and other worthwhile community activities. I feel the associations we have with each other both at the state and are well worth our time and money. local levels May we try to make each club year just a bit better than Ghe last. Cedar City Club Frieda - --- Withrow, President The Cedar City Club started the year with the officers entertaining the members with an outdoor party in Beth leigh f S lovely back yard. June the clUb entertained the Nevada Club with a picnic up the canyon. July two members attended the National Convention and returned just in time to help the other members entertain the Nebraska Federation, who were returning In In from the convention. A buffet supper We had was served in Leta Cowley's beautiful yard. good membership meeting in September. In October we bad opment Program. We had a lovely Christmas Program in December. a Personal Devel January we had a Civic Participation Program. Also four of our members journeyed to St" George to attend their Public Affairs Program. In February we had our Valentine Party and contributed money to the Rheumatic Fever Project. In February we also bad a very good program on World Affairs. In We have had ship Workshop and We had representatives to both State Board to the District Conference. good meal and lovely fellowship with a Shaw in the home of one of our members" Meetings, our State and the Leader President, Edith The club officers and chairmen entertained with a delightful breakfast for Ester Peterson when she came to C.S.U. Estel' is a member of the National labor Board in Washington. We will have our our speaker and _M_id_vs_l_e - a Legislative Program on April 24 with Senator Hunter as pot luck d inner will be served.
