RECORDING SECRETARY It has been Joyce C. Frisby pleasure to serve the Utah Federation as Recording Secretary participant at all the meetings. The Executive Committee was not idle throughout the year, for a post-convention meeting was held in May and plans were made for the first Executive Committee Meeting. From then on, the coromi ttee met regularly, and meetings 'Were held in June, two in August, one in September, November, January, and February. At these meetings, plans were made for ell organized board meetings, the Leadership Seminar, the State Convention, as ell as the meeting to organize a Governor's Commission on the Status of Women The meetings 'Were 'Well planned and conducted in an orderly manner. Guest speakers were Margpret Brinkerhoff of the Utah Department of Employment Security; and Dr. Alison Thorne from Utah State University. The theme "Utah Accepts The Changing Role of Women," was 'Well presented and ended 'With an outstanding panel discussion on "Utah Welcomes Her Newcomers" conducted by Adelyn Logan.
