Frobes is serving Dean of Women and Associate Dean of Students at the University of Utah, a position which she has as held since 1958. She was formerly employed in the VA Hospital at Fort Douglas as a clerical psychology trainee, and in the University of Utah Guidance Center. The author of several publications, Dean Frobes received her university training at the University of Utah, completing work for the PhD in 1958. In her community service she has been a board member in the YWCA, Salt Lake Community Chest, Salt Lake County Welfare Council and a Defense Volunteer. Dean Frobes holds membership in Pi Beta Phi, Chi Delta Phi, Mortar Civilian Board, Phi Kappa Phi, and Psi Chi. Among other organizations she is a member of the Utah, Rocky Moun tain and American Psychological As National Association of Women Deans and Counselors and American Association of University Women. sociations, Status Of Women Meeting Called The National Commission on the Status of Women and the possibility of establishing such a State Com mission will be the topic for discus sion at a special meeting being cal led by President Edith Shaw together with the state executive board of BPW. To this meeting have been invited leaders of many women's organiza tions throughout the state. Response to the invitations has indicated very decided interest in this a project. The meeting, which will be held on Saturday, April 20, from 9 :00-12 :00 noon in the Governor's Board Room at the State Capitol, is preliminary to discussion with the governor.
