Club St. the of George Beaver Club Ella -- Easton, President This year the Beaver BPW Club bas been very active. club is a happy club. We feel that an active Our Installation Banquet was held June 5th at the Community Center. Mildred Sara Bakes acted as mistress ?ickard took charge of installing the new officers. :>f ceremony of a fine program and a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmi.ngs flaS served to a large group. the BPW members operated the concession stands for the Beaver big job and for three days the members of te club really Srked hard. However, we make enough money from this one source to operate our :lub projects for the follo";"ing year so we feel that it is worth it. Again this year, ; Race Meet. This last year, members of the club abtained and painted ?icnic tables and benches which have been placed at the park for the enjoyment of the townspeople and tourists. This made us more aware than lre rver of the blessings of Liberty we enjoy here . ' in America • Each year we sponsor a girl to girls state. We feel that this is a very orthy project and are very proud of the girls we have sponsored. However, this last year the American Legion .. , Auxiliary will sponsor both girls.
