Aware of Importance Purpose of the two-day meet to make American of the club impor tance of leadership training, says Mrs. Irene Parsons, Pro women aware vo, BPW state president. The program will attack such problems as the nature of leadership in a rapidly changing society; specific problems women encounter in leadership roles they assume; problems in communication as basic to sharing leadership; how to make decisions in groups, how to carry decisions out after they are made and problems in self development. Letters Sent Out Special letters have been sent to more then 200 women's organizations. Representatives from all of the 26 BPW Clubs in Utah also will attend. BPW clubs have taken the initiative in contacting' organizations. Keynote speaker Will be Dr. Edward O. Moe, director of the Bureau of Community De velopment, U. of U. and pro fessor of sociology. Miss Ada L. Burt, past state BPW president, is general chan. Assisting her are Plan Buzz Session Mrs. Esther R. Landa, Mrs. Gweneth G. Mulder and Dr. Moe from the U. of U. are , serving as consultants. The conference begins Fri day at 7 :30 p.m. with the key note address, buzz session and a social hour. Saturday sessions start at 9 a.m. with a luncheon interrnis- sion. Registration Is being han dled by the Extension Division. I |
