Another conference I attended was the State-Wide Women IS Conference on Utah IS Future: Whose Responsibi lity at the University of Utah A number of BPW members attended and received much valuable information.. Topics discussed were: Industrial Deve lopment I Population, Vo lunteers .. and Community Action, and Education .. Anne Kidd and Emma Beck represented the State Federation and visited Governor Calvin L at which time he signed the proclamation declaring the week of March 7 through 13 National Women's Week. Through the efforts of Emma Beck, I was given €In opportunity to explain brrefly on te levision the purpose of observing th is week. Also I on Monday of th is same week the Sugar House invited me to be the guest speaker at their IIKick-off Breckfost ;" Their special guests were their bosses.
