Poulson, Cochran and Jensen 1 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ABOLITION OF DISCRIMINA- 2 TORY WAGE RATES BASED ON SEX; PROVIDING FOR 3 THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE ACT BY THE INDUSTRIAL 4 COMMISSION OF 5 OF UNPAID WAGES, FOR RECORDS AND REPORTING BY 6 EMPLOYERS AND FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF 7 THE ACT. / : 4 5 6 UTAH; PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah: Section 1. an (1) "Employee" means any individual employed by employer, including individuals employed by the state or any of its political subdivisions including public bodies. (2) "Employer" includes any person acting directly or indirectly in the interest of an employer in relation to an employee.
