The widow of the late Dempey H. Southard, Vi earned her BA Degree from Phillips University at Enid, Oklahoma, and has followed her chos en profession in education since that time. Active in her community, she has given many hours of volunteer ser vice. She is presently serving as chair man of the Status of Women Commit tee of the Moab Branch of the Ameri can Association of University Women.
