As the Utah Federation Pres ident, I attended this excellent three day session. A panel discussion, "A Session with Legislation" was mod erated by Sarah Jane Cunningham, National Legislation Chairman. Jud ge Mildred W. Norris of Mississippi, Mrs. Evelyn B. Rankin of Nebraska, and Miss Edna Schwartz of Minne sota, three state presidents; and Mrs. Avis C. Bourne, Miss Jane Culbreth, and Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson of Pen nsylvania participated in a discus sion of legislative issues. This early morning session was fol lowed by a trip to Capitol Hill to in terview our representatives. Appoint ments had been made with these con gressmen before we left our states. This proved to be an inspiring ex perience to me to confer with each representative.
