Our specimen agrees in almost every particular with the above description ; the longitudinal line, however, appears not to extend above the ninth dorsal segment, but it may be concealed under the overlapping margins of the segments. In an example in Mr. Saunders's collection, the longitudinal line extends from the second to the eleventh segment, but in some of them it is feebly indicated. Sect. b.
