Ute At her daugh ter' s home (LIZlIE). she never suffered much, & died very peacefuly. I heard Mother say that when they got ready to leave [ngland, their Missionary President, went to see her Mother & he put his arm around her Mother & said. " mrs ~aylor this daughter of yours is the most presious child you have, Mother said "I could never understand what he ment by that," Till we moved over her snd started to do Temple Work, then she said, " I know now whaj; he ment," he ment we would do their Temple Work. lather ~ Mother's family was all active in the South Weber L.D.S. Ward. Father being in the bishipric went to all the ward parti t dances, He was A very joly person and liked to step dance at times, At the dances ~hey quite often had him out on the floo~ st -dancing during intermission. Jhe has been back to England, once for ~ vi~it for fi short time. Mother Always hoped to go back to see her folks, but she never made it, After Father Died, Mother was A widow for 28- long years, she died at the age of, nearly 97- years. her health was fererley good, except t~ wards the,last she almost lost her eye sight, & her hearing waa'nt.very goorl, but she never complained., she nev~r had A pperat10n, she sald ,she had A Patriarch, ble~sing, & he told her she woul~'~lth out the sting of death. & ~he did. hfter Mother l e ft her home, my daughter & hcr husband, bought her home, in 1952- they lived there till 195~, then they solei. !it e;ga anti moved to Hoy Utah. My Father & brothers built my brother Parley A home just on the north side of Father & Mother'S bame. After my brother'Parley passed away, his wife atayed there for some time then she sold that also. Father built A light bri~k_~1 & Parley A red brick. home . When my parents first moved to Ogden they lived on the bench, between 2Ist.-& 20th-across the stree to the aouth of the old deaf& blind school, they had 5 children at this adress. There were lots of Indians around at that til It was nothing to see A big Indian put his face up to the window & look in. |
