Bertelsen, Mayor Springville City 50 South Main Springville, UT 84663 Dear Mayor Bertelsen: It is my distinct pleasure to inform you that the Cyrus Dallin House located at 253 South 300 East, Springville, nominated by the Utah Board of State History and the Utah State Historic Preservation Officer, was officially listed in the National Register of I~istoric Places by the National Park Service on 3/31/94. Listing in the National Register is intended to encourage preservation as well as provide recognition of a property·s significance. A 20 percent federal tax credit is available for substantial rehabilitation of residential rental and commercial properties. In addition, a 20 percent state tax credit is available for the rehabilitation of historic residential properties. We are pleased to assist the owners of properties listed in the National Register with either application process should they wish to apply. We have also provided the owner with information about the National Register certificate and commemorative marker to aid in the public recognition of the significance of this property.
