Show PREFAC the paper and watermarking trades. The materia I have been able to amass dealing with old papermaking has not, by any means, been exhausted i the present book and it is my hope that some tim it will be possible to produce a companion volume This book, with all its omissions and errors, is th most comprehensive work on the particular subjec as the craft of the old papermakers has receive but scant attention I will make no apologies for the compilation o the text, or for the paper, type, or printing.
