Show n OLD~PAPERMAKIN 9 consisted of a Latin cross surmounted by a scrol with the word Zion; two keys forming triangle with the uprights and arms of the cross, whic rested upon a narrow panel bearing the nam "Efrata" The keys had reference tothe "Clavicul Salomonis," or Keys of Solomon, a mystic book of the seventeenth --- century which was highly regarded by the brotherhood. The entir emblem was capped by a filigree not unlike the upper part of th second watermark of the Rittened at Ephrata before 174 Most of the moulds that wer used at the Ephrata paper mill were made by Isaac Langle of German- ~ Epbrata, () town. In 1744, after the death o the mould-maker, there appeared an advertisement for the sale of a "Siebmachers-weberstuh mit einen dazu gehorigen eisern Schienen-zug un anders zugehar." (A wire-weavers' frame, wit an iron apparatus for wire-drawing and other belongings.)
