A We were on the river long enough to meander the banks of the river; probably two months of that time was spent right on the river. Q What two months were they? A They weren't consecutive months or days, either; the section lines would be run up to the river, then probably a mile or two of meandering would be done, then more sectionizing. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q So that your visit to the river would extend through the entire period? A Yes. Q At Nokai did you make any use of the boat? A Yes. Q What use did you make of the boat at Nokai? A Crossing men and supplies. |
