Q How many bushels to the acre of wheat is grown there on the dry farms, if you know? A Well, I know what I have grown. Q What have grown/ A I have grown one year I remember we threshed three fields of wheat; we threshed one field that went twenty bushels, and another field that went forty bushel. Q Went what? A Forty bushel; we threshed another field that went forty- six, as I remember, but I think possibly that is a little over the average crop for that section. Q Which is, the forty- six? A The average of those. Q The average of those is, in your opinion, a little more than the average of other farmers? A Yes. Q How large an area, if you can state it in acres or square miles, is there in that section that is dry farm land |
