BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Now, how large an acreage of what in your opinion is good dry farm land would you say is located there in the Elk ridge section? A Well, the Elk ridge is a flat mountain; I am sure that there would be one hundred thousand acres of tillable ground on the top of Elk ridge, but further south than that it would not be dry farmed, I am sure. Q What about the country east of the Blue mountain, and from there on east to the Colorado line? Are you familiar with that country? |
