Show 244 6431 4422 Woods- D BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Do you know whether or not any extensive development work has been done on any of these properties you have men-tioned except the Big Indian? A Well, no; those mines in the Blue mountains,-- those mills were built there, but they never did run to amount to anything, and there has never been any extensive work done in that section of the country, at all. Q Has there been any considerable money spent in San Juan county, so far as you are aware, in attempting to develop, to discover or develop any of its mineral resources? A Well, outside of the money spent in the Blue, in the building of the mill, and the Big Indian, there has been no money spent that I know of to any extent. MR. FARNSWORTH: I think you may cross examine. CROSS EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Did you personally work this prospect down in Copper canyon? A I have made a number of trips into the Copper canyon country and taken samples from that property with a view of working it or having it worked. |
