Show 199 6386 4377 Perkins- D A It is a homestead filing in the name of my boys; I think it is one hundred and sixty acres. Q How much of it has been under cultivation, actual cultivation? A I would say something like sixty acres. Q How does this land lying between your place and the San Juan compare in character with your land? A Well, I would say the bottom land is similar to that that I had. Q This Comb wash comes in the San Juan near Chinle creek, doesn't it? A Eight miles west of Bluff, something like that, eight or ten miles. Q Chinle creek is a short distance below, isn't it, Comb wash? A Where Comb wash empties in, it is right close to-gether, the mouth of Chinle and the mouth of Comb, very close together. THE SPECIAL MASTER: It has been testified they are practically opposite each other. A THE WITNESS: I think so, close together, that is the way I remember it. |
