Q That is, you passed through Monticello and Bluff? A No, Bluff is south of Monticello; the valley, Dry Valley, is north of Monticello, between the blue mountains and the La Sal mountains. Q You went right up to Moab, didn't you? A Yes sir. Q And then came across that way? A Yes sir. Q And you weren't any further west than a line drawn through Moab and Monticello, were you? A Well, I have been in Dry Valley; I have a few sheep there; I have been over the range pretty well this fall in Dry Valley. Been in Dry Valley all summer, practically. Q About how many acres of grass do you figure to a steer down in that section? A Well. I couldn't tell you that; I don't know the estimate the forest makes on that; they make an estimate there. |
