A Diary and field notes. MR. BLACKMAR: I think it is entitled, " Field notes". MR. FARNSWORTH: How many pages are there? MR. BLACKMAR: I can't tell you how many typewritten pages. MR. FARNSWORTH: Seems to me that is a stack of docu-ments ten inches high- - does all that have a bearing on this case? THE SPECIAL MASTER: Well, Mr. Blackmar, as I under-stand, at Denver prepared a typewritten document which contained, as I understood him to say, what he though was relevant. You raised some objection that you thought the whole document should go in, because Mr. Blackmar could not say that his typewritten sheets were the whole document, which they evidently were not. I understand that the portions of this diary that you consider relevant are in that typewritten sheet; is that so? MR. BLACKMAR: Yes; but since I have read Mr. Stanton's diary more thoroughly, I would have to revise that. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Of course I can't read all these |
