The soil was then mixed with WWTP sludge and disposed in the Arthur Step Back Repository. Some contaminated soil was left in place due to close proximity to operational facilities (specifically an active gas line and electrical utilities). Reclamation of the Site included covering the areas where contaminated soil was excavated as well as covering the area where soil was left in place with at least 18 inches of fill soil. Fill soil was amended with bio-solids and re-seeded. None of the contaminated soil left in place failed the Toxicity Characteristic limits using SPLP. M06SUM.DOC |
