Show Record Photograph No. 10 shows the canyon below Goodrich. The width of the streams of water as shown in that picture is about 60 feet. These pictures were taken at various times, different years and different months. The latest year was 1918. photograph No. 11 is out from what we call the second goose the country. It is typical of the county. No. 12 is what they call the Monumental valley. It lies a little south and west of Goodrich, in the neighborhood of Moonlight creek. It is typical of the country. No. 13 is one of the high waters just above Goodrich or the mouth of Gypsum. I cannot tell when that picture was taken, 695 likely in June. No. 14 is the new suspension bridge. No. 15 is right down from Goodrich, near Mexican Hat. No. 16 is what we call the oil field north of the river 696 from Goodrich with the Blue Mountains in the background. No. 17 shows the formation right below Mendenhall gooseneck, taken at fairly high water. No. 18 is the Honaker trail. I have been down the trail. It is used to pack supplies to the placer niners. No. 19 is the flat at Goodrich. No. 20 is a mud flat thrown in right below Goodrich, between 697 Goodrich ant the mouth of Gypsum. They placer mined there once. No. 21 shows ice blocks at Goodrich where the bridge is. No. 22 is my brother trying to cross the river at Goodrich. No. 23 is right at Goodrich where the bridge is. The 698 people are right on the edge of the river. I think the picture was taken about July, 1920/ No. 24 is a goose- neck way down below. I think they call it the third goose- neck. No. 25 is a picture of the fields north of our oil fields, |
