President Olpin reported that several applicants had been interviewed by the Athletic Board for the position of basketball coach, previously held by Vadal'Peterson who resigned this. Spring, The Athletic Board now recommends that the position be offered to Mr. Jack Gardner of Kansas State University, who is one of the top basketball coaches in America, unless the Board of Regents feels that the salary requested by Coach Gardner is more than can be paid by the University, in which event the JACK GARDNER RECOMMENDED AND APPROVED FOR POSITION OF BASKET" BALL COACH |
