Show 5&3 complete report from Prof, Elmo Morgan, Co- ordinator of Cooperative Research, on sponsored research being conducted at the University, The PROFESSOR MORGAN"S REPORT ON RESEARCH PROJECTS President related that in 1944 the University was conducting four'research projects valued at $9, 800, 00 as compared with 121 projects for the year 1952 valued at $1, 272, 000. On motion of Regent Bennion, copies of the report were re- quested sent to all Regents. MOtion seconded and carried. HOEBEL NAMED DEAN OF UN1= VERSITY COLLEGE and the Faculty Committees had met with the ad-= ministration, to carry out its assignment with respect to appointing a Dean of the University College, and after due consideration of candidates, announced the appointment of Dr, Adamson E.
