Show [+47 . Budget Officer. This request had been prepared in three parts as follows: DISCUSSION OF 1953-55 BUDGET 1. 2. 3. Administration Medical School Geological Survey and were discussed in the‘above order. ADMINISTRATION BUDGET REQUEST The administration appropriation request for the biennium totalled $6, 736, 539. This amount is determined by doubling the 1932-3 University operating budget' ($4, 421, 237) and adding to the figure of $8, 842, 474,. a sum of $591, 269 for excess departmental requests over the 1952-3 operating budget and by adding thereto a 5% salary increase ($347, 206) for the first and second year of the biennium, and an additional 3% salary increase ($109, 370) for the second year of the biennium. This total, $9, 890, 319, is increased by $30, 000 to provide for recommended changes in the annuity schedule, making a total of $9, 920, 319. From this amount there is deducted the estimated dedicated credits for the 1953-55 biennium of $3, 183, 780, thus giving a requested appmpriation of $6, 736, 539. |
