Show 545 The following leaves of absence were approved on motion of Regent Bennion, seconded by Regent LEAVES OF ABSENCE APPROVED Bowen. Professor M. M. Christensen, Electrical Engineering Department, for extension of leave without pay for the year 1953-54. Request of sabbatical leave of absence for spring quarter by Associate Professor Sherman R. Couch, Physical Education Department. Extension of leave of absence for Dr. Ivan B. Cutler for an additional five months beginning April 1, 1953, without pay. Request for a year's leave of absence by George Carter, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering, without pay for the 1953-54 year. Milton P. Mathews, Associate Professor of Marketing, leave of absence September to June 1953-4, without pay. Charles Allison, Assistant Professor of Accounting sabbatical leave Spring Quarter 1953. Judge Herbert Schiller - extension of sick leave with pay, through the Spring Quarter of 1953, His faculty associates will take care of most of his assignments for that quarter; however, it will be necessary to supplement the Law College budget by $350., 00 to provide additional assistance. Regent Bennion moved approval of the requests seconded by Regent Bowen and carried.
