Waldo, Assistant to the Dean, College of Medicine, July 1, 1953 to July 1, 1955 for active duty in the United States Army. Dr... Chester A. Swinyard, Professor of Anatomy for five month leave without pay beginning August 1, 1953 in order to accept a clinical fellowship at the Institute of Physical. Medicine and Rehabilitation, New York City. S° B, Hammond, Assistant Professor Electrical Engineering, for the year 1953954 (this is an ex- tension of leave granted for 1952~53 to work on doctorate). APPOINTMENTS On motion of Regent Gibson seconded by Regent Eccles, APPROVED the following appointments to the staff, in addition to those named in Appendix One were approved; also approved were appointments to emeriti status of the members of the staff as indicated in item "G"; A. Roy D. Willey as Acting Head of the Department of Educational Psychology, effective July 1, 1953, at $6, 397. B., , ,Dale Harris as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at $7, 000 a year. Mrs. Elizabeth Morals, Visiting Professor for the summer session, June 15 to July 6, 1953, at $600. (Home Economics) Henrietta Friedberg, Visiting Instructor in Music, June 15 to July 22, 1953 at $600, Milton E. Wadsworth, Assistant Professor of Metal-- lurgy full-time (has been serving one-half time) at a salary of $5, 200. This is a partial replacement for Dr. McLachlan.
