Show 57h Regent Evans suggested that an amount of $50, 000 be approved at this time with the understanding that the budget be brought up again if it is found impossible to secure, within that amount, the attractions and the services of the personalities under consideration, Regent Culp's motion was then put and carried, Regent Toronto voting "no". RETURN OF FUNDS FOR MEN'S DORMITORY APPROVED The President reported that Mr. Harry Jessen, District Engineer, Housing and Home Finance Agency, is requesting the return of the $8300. 00 advanced for preparing plans for the Men's Dormitory. The request was made inasmuch as the preparation of the plans has exceeded the 210 days allowed in the Loan Agreement. The President recommended that the loan be returned from the Alumni Development Fund restricted for dormitory purposes. Regent Culp moved approval of the recommendation, which was seconded by Regent Eccles and carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS: BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS Regent Culp, Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee, reported that no committee meetings had been held this month.
