Except what is stated in the 1909 report, he would have no knowledge of the depth of channel and difficulties encountered in actual navigation in that portion of the Green River in 1909. R. 381. " Q When you say in your report that the channel depths wore from 3 to 5 feet, and tapering into zero, do you mean, that in the deeper part of the channel it would be 3 to 5 feet deep, and would come up until, probably, the bar was exposed? " A Taper to the point where the bar was exposed." R. 322. Photograph No. 88 [ Complainant's Exhibit No. 77] is one he took between Moab and Castle Creek. Castle Creek is at Mile 78. Photograph No. 90 of the same Exhibit, is at lower end of the survey, or about Miles 72.5. The photographs that he took above Moab are Nos. 89 and 90, and 178 [ Complainant's Exhibit No. 77]. Photograph No. 89 is taken about 7 miles above Moab. That picture was taken from the highway, or from an automobile. Photograph No. 90 is about 5 or 6 miles above Moab. He did not go above Moab in a boat. R. 323. " Q As I recall, in the report you have made you make some statement about the limit of navigation above Moab.
