When he arrived at the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers he was met there by the large boat that he had intended to use for the entire trip. There were two boats besides the large boat, [ in all] " there was the canoe, the rowboat and the motorboat," used by the party between the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers and Moab.
