R. 199- 200. " Q Hon, Dr. Hoyt, when you reached the mouth of the Green river, just tell us what happened down there. " A We were met at the mouth of the Green River by Mr. Virgil Baldwin in the motorboat, with an assistant. We were not there on Wednesday at noon. Mr. Baldwin had left Moab, I believe, Monday morning. I had never seen the Cataract Canyon and the first day we ran down the about two miles below the junction, with the outboard motor, and camped at a point about two miles below the junction. And the next day we walked down to the first cataract, and took photographs of the first and second cataracts." R. 200- 201.
