It was necessary to re- supply his equipment enroute, taking supplies on at Lees Ferry. These had been shipped overland from Kanab. Supplies were also taken on at Grand Canyon. They were taken down the trail from the Grand Canyon which was on the Santa Fe Railroad. The arrangements for these supplies were made before the trip was made down the river. R. 93.
