Show 108 -- 104-- that have been collected by the Geological Survey in the Colorado River at Cisco. This shows that the extreme low water October flow is about 2,000 second- feet. The extreme high October flow is about 14,000 second- feet; that on the average there have been five days below 2,500 second- feet; five days when the flow has been between 2,500 and 3,500 second- feet; five days when the flow has been between 3,500 and 4,000 second- feet; five days when it has been between 5,000 and 14,000 second- feet." R. 224- 225. When he was there, and measured by the Cisco Station, just above Moab, the flow was 4,900 [ sic 3900 - R. 235] second- feet at Moab. That was the average. I will give you the actual. I was on the Colorado River between October 18 and October 25. The flow on October 18 was 4,520 second- feet. The flow on October 19 was 4,300 second- feet. The flow on the 20th was 4,090 second- feet. The flow on the 21st was 3,920 second- feet; the flow on the 22nd was 3,770 second- feet; the flow on the 23d was 3,650 second- feet." R. 225. On the 24th was 3,690 second- feet. R. 225. That gave us, as I say, about three feet in the channels going around the bends. On the straight stretches the depth was any where between one and two feet- in the broad stretches between the bonds. " Mr. Farnsworth: Outside the channel? " The special Master: No; in the channel, where it widened out. " The witness: Between bonds at the crossing bar, or at points approaching the crossing bar, the depths are 1 |
