Description Colony Guard Constitution Section 4.-Upon the selection and location of grounds for operations, means shall at OIWC be taken by a Committee appointed for that purpose, for the immediate erection of such shelter w the means of the Association shall admit: to the end that health and comfort shall be secured to all ; every member of this Company shall work as many hours per day, in what cvcr cm- ploymcnt he may bc engaged upon, as shall be detcrmiued by a vote of the Company. A R T I C L E VIII. The duration of this Company shall he for one year, dating from the arrival at the Miucs, sub- ject to a contirluancc by :L majority vote of the members ; should it be dc:erminctl on that the opcrntions should cease, an equal division of all stores belonging to the company shall immcdi- ately take place. ARTICLE IX. There shall be a regular meeting of the Com- pany, held on the evening of the last Saturday of each month, at which time all business of the Company shall be t rnnsactcd. ARTICLE X. There shall be no unnecessary labor per- formed on the Sabbath; in case any member should collect any treasure on that day the same shall go into the common fund of the: Company. Section ll.-In the event of an election fall- ing on the Sabbath it shall be postponed until the evening of the next day ; and any member whose term of c~fficc may expire on that day 207
