In ( Coinpl Compl ) . Exhibit 624 , page 13 , the report on possible navigation of the Colorado River continues and definite rates and times of sailing from New York City to Callville are quoted . In ( Februaiy February ) 1865 , the Church storehouse at ( Call- Call ) ville was built . In all the history of this State there is no suggestion of any navigation on the Colorado River above ( Call's Calls ) Landing . That point seems to be definitely accepted by the Mormons as the highest possible point of navigation . In Compl . Exhibit 624 , page 14 , the ( establish establish- establish ) ment of a coach road from the Colorado River to Salt Lake City is discussed , but there is no suggestion of operating any boats above ( Call's Calls ) Landing . In Compl . Exhibit 622 , page 6 , report is made of the steamer which is expected to arrive to bring roofing , pitch , etc . , to be used in connection with the construction of the warehouse at Callville and also contains the following significant observation : Should the European saints at some future time come to this route , they will , in a few ( days' days ) travel , be in the ( midst inidst ) of our ( settle settle- settle ) ments .
